North Orange County Community College District Policies 3410 (Unlawful Discrimination), 3430 (Prohibition of Harassment), and 3540 (Sexual Assaults and Other Sexual Misconduct) prohibit discrimination, harassment (including sexual harassment), and sexual assault and misconduct in any educational, employment, or business program or activity of the District.
The District prohibits discrimination and harassment on the basis of ethnic group identification, national origin, religion, age, sex, gender, gender identification, gender expression, race, color, medical condition, genetic information, ancestry, sexual orientation, marital status, physical or mental disability, or military and veteran status, or as otherwise prohibited by state and federal statutes, or because he or she is perceived to have one or more of the foregoing characteristics, or based on association with a person or group with one or more of these actual or perceived characteristics. Any violation of these policies are subject to disciplinary procedures.
NOCCCD's policies prohibit sexual assault which includes but is not limited to rape, domestic violence, dating violence, or stalking, as defined by California law. Any violation of this policy is subject to disciplinary procedures, including criminal procedures and disciplinary procedures of the District applicable to employees and students.
The following person is designated by the North Orange County Community College District as the Responsible Officer for coordinating compliance with these policies and responsible for receiving and coordinating the investigation of, and responding to, all unlawful discrimination, harassment, and sexual assault/misconduct complaints filed pursuant North Orange County Community College District Administrative Procedures 3410.
