Every two years ahead of the general election, the California Secretary of State Students Vote Project hosts the Ballot Bowl—a friendly competition where higher education campuses compete to register the most students to vote and showcase civic engagement efforts.

Orange County Teachers were celebrated at the 2025 Teachers of the Year Gala on November 1, 2024. The gala took place at the Disneyland Hotel and was hosted by the Orange County Department of Education. This year’s theme was “Resilient and Strong.”

Four employees of the North Orange County Community College District were presented with 2024 North Star Awards for their significant contributions to the District's mission, vision, and values.

Pragyee Mool, Jennifer Oo, Marlo Smith, and Courtnie Voet are the latest recipients of the 2023/24 Colleagues of the Year awards for North Orange Continuing Education.

The NOCCCD employees listed below achieved a milestone in their career this academic year. The District congratulates those reaching retirement, as well as those who have served the District for 25 years or more as of 2024.
