Office Furniture is an essential part of day-to-day operations for faculty, staff, and students. An established set of District-wide furniture standards contributes to a comprehensive campus appearance while maintaining a high level of quality.

Emergency Preparedness
Each campus has specific protocols and Incident Command Systems (ICS) when responding to emergencies.

Environmental Health and Safety
The District Manager of Environmental Health and Safety is responsible for implementing the District-wide safety program. Responsibilities include coordinating safety trainings for employees, participating in campus safety meetings, conducting site inspections, developing procedures to minimize toxic chemical exposure, and working with government agencies such as the Occupational Safety and Health Authority (OSHA).

The purpose of NOCCCD’s ergonomics program is to identify and eliminate potential work related musculoskeletal disorder (WMSD) hazards in order to prevent employee injury.

Group Health Insurance Program (CalPERS)
The Group Health Insurance Program (CalPERS) provides eligible Adjunct Faculty the opportunity to receive full health insurance benefits equal to what is provided to full-time faculty at NOCCCD.
