    In an effort to establish a pool of firms that demonstrate the highest level of experience and capability to provide various services, the Purchasing Staff have sent out Requests for Qualifications (RFQs) that offer these services. The following are the lists of Board Approved Vendors organized by services:

    District-wide Furniture Standards

    Office Furniture is an essential part of day-to-day operations for faculty, staff, and students. An established set of District-wide furniture standards contributes to a comprehensive campus appearance while maintaining a high level of quality.

    Environmental Health and Safety

    The District Manager of Environmental Health and Safety is responsible for implementing the District-wide safety program. Responsibilities include coordinating safety trainings for employees, participating in campus safety meetings, conducting site inspections, developing procedures to minimize toxic chemical exposure, and working with government agencies such as the Occupational Safety and Health Authority (OSHA).

    Ergonomics

    The purpose of NOCCCD’s ergonomics program is to identify and eliminate potential work related musculoskeletal disorder (WMSD) hazards in order to prevent employee injury.
