      Anaheim Campus Welcomes Back Cafe
The Cypress College student-run café returned to its Anaheim Campus location at the beginning of this semester. Since their return, they’ve served the California Community College Board of Governors and collaborated with nonprofit organizations to bring meals to the community.
Cypress Bistro left the NOCCCD Anaheim Campus in Spring 2024 while their kitchens were receiving an upgrade. When the Fall 2025 semester began, the bistro moved back to dish out course after course of sophisticated and inspiring dining experiences.
Soon after moving back to their Anaheim Campus home, Cypress Bistro’s talented chefs prepared a four-course lunch for the annual California Community College Board of Governors meeting, which was hosted at NOCE this year. The menu consisted of sun-dried tomato focaccia, roasted golden beets salad, and ricotta cavatelli & cream tomato entrée, with house-made ice cream treats served from a vintage ice cream cart for dessert. The restaurant recently worked in collaboration catering with non-profit organization Operation Nourish, providing free meals to homeless veterans and struggling military families.
Under the School of Culinary Arts & Hospitality Management, Cypress Bistro features cuisine prepared by advanced culinary students and served by Restaurant Management, offering a high-end dining experience for an affordable price to allow its students to practice their skills in a practical learning environment. The theme of this semester’s menu is American Regional, with every week featuring flavors from different states across the nation.
