The colleges at NOCCCD have not only prepared events and celebrations for Black History Month this year, but also strategic plans and long-term goals to improve the Black student experience at the District moving forward.
NOCCCD announces that Dr. John Parker has been selected as the new Vice Chancellor, Administrative Services. Dr. Parker is scheduled to begin in March 2026.
The new 2025 officers were selected at the end-of-the-year organizational Board meeting held on December 16, 2025.
NOCCCD faculty were honored at the Disneyland Resort Hotel for the 2026 Orange County Teachers of the Year gala on November 7, 2025. All three campuses were nominated, with Fullerton College's Dr. Catherine Reinhardt-Zacair celebrated as one of the six finalists. This year's theme was "Lighting the Way".
The week of November 10 – 14 is now Veterans Appreciation Week.
The Cypress College student-run café returned to its Anaheim Campus location at the beginning of this semester. Since their return, they’ve served the California Community College Board of Governors and collaborated with nonprofit organizations to bring meals to the community.
