NOCCCD Scholary Symposium
Join faculty members throughout the District and our three (3) campuses, Cypress College, Fullerton College, and North Orange Continuing Education (NOCE) as we explore and learn about the research, graduate, and post-doc work that Faculty members have completed within various issues facing higher education.
What is the Scholarly Symposium?
Academic and scholarly presentations are a way for researchers, scholars, and practitioners to share their findings/summaries with various audiences. There is a lot of valuable information that is relevant to our institutions of higher education. With a focus of diversity, equity, inclusion, anti-racism and/or accessibility (DEIAA), these presentations will focus on various facets of the overall student experiences and the professional growth opportunities of our district/campus communities.
The Scholarly Symposium is an opportunity for full-time and part-time faculty to present and share their research to peers and higher education communities as a whole. The presentations can be from various types of research, including:
- Dissertations
- Sabbaticals
- Practicums
- Post-doctorate work
- Publications
Supporting the Community
With building community, supporting equity-minded practitioners throughout the District, promoting resource stewardship, employee development, this Symposium is a demonstrated effort of the Community Goal 2 (Equity in Access) and Goal 3 (Equity in Support) specified in the 2022-26 District-wide Strategic Plan.
