In 2026, Senate Bill 294 (SB 294), also known as the California Workplace Know Your Rights Act, was established as law. This law establishes new employer notice and communication requirements to ensure employees are informed of their workplace and constitutional rights.

NOCCCD is dedicated to fostering a District work and learning environment that is completely free from violence. Our primary focus, in accordance with California law, is on effectively managing critical workplace incidents, particularly those involving actual or potential violence.
