About Grants and Resource Development at NOCCCD
NOCCCD’s Grants and Resource Development Department provides grant development and grant management services and resources to Cypress College, Fullerton College, North Orange Continuing Education, and the District Office.
In the fiscal year 2023-24, the Grants Office supported 91 grant applications, agreements, reports, and amendments, securing an impressive $55,170,613 in funding across both current and future fiscal years.

NASH Catalyst Funds for Fullerton College
Supports the Rising Scholars Program at Fullerton College, which focuses on enhancing educational outcomes for justice-impacted students.
Song-Brown Initiative
Strengthens and expands the Nursing Program at Cypress College by helping tot increase the number of qualified healthcare professionals in our community.
Perkins Grants
Funds various career and technical education programs across the District, enhancing pathways to high-demand careers for students.
Machinist Pre-Apprenticeship Program
Funds to develop and implement a pre-apprenticeship program at Fullerton College that prepares students for careers in the machinist trade, aligning with industry needs and workforce development.

Some of the services the Grants Department can provide are:
Grant Pre-Award Application Development:
- Identify and research grant opportunities
- Summarize and evaluate grant opportunities to facilitate the decision to pursue a grant
- Plan, edit, write, and develop competitive grant applications
- Complete and submit grant applications
Grant Post-Award Management:
- Start-up and orientation meeting
- Budget and program planning
- Preparation and submission of grant items for Board approval - including the Grant Agreement
- Compile, complete, and submit grant contract documents
- Sub-agreement development for grant partners and/or sub-awardees
