NOCCCD Health Insurance Premium Reimbursement Program
Eligible Adjunct Faculty may participate in the NOCCCD Health Insurance Premium Reimbursement Program.

Please review Article 12.1 in the collective bargaining agreement between Adjunct Faculty United and NOCCCD for additional information.
Eligibility Requirements
To be eligible for a health insurance reimbursement under this program, Adjunct Faculty Unit Members must meet ALL of the following criteria:
- Complete three (3) semesters within the previous five (5) semesters prior to applying
- Be actively working with a minimum current workload of 33% FTE (approximately 5 units, 100 noncredit hours or 204 counseling hours)
- Be enrolled in an individual insurance policy, such as Covered CA or Medicare, where no contributions are provided by another employer
COBRA coverage is provided under a group rate with a previous employer and not considered an individual policy.
Dental, vision, prescription, or any other miscellaneous insurances/expenses are not covered.
Application Process
The Human Resources – Benefits Office provides additional information on the application process towards the end of the semester for which an Adjunct Faculty Unit Member is interested in applying.
The application process requires the following components:
- NOCCCD Health Insurance Premium Reimbursement Program Online Application
- Credit Adjunct Faculty deadline: December 13, 2025
- Non-Credit Adjunct Faculty deadline: December 19, 2025
- Proof of Health Insurance Premiums
- The Unit Member will be required to submit proof of health insurance premium payments for the months of coverage they are requesting for their reimbursement. All proof of insurance payments MUST include:
- Full name
- Date of payment
- Amount of payment
- Institution paid
- Description of payment
