In honor of Pride Month this June, Fullerton College organized various events to support our queer community on campus, both in person and virtually. Please feel free to share the flyers widely with your students and department to help advertise these opportunities for engagement and community. Pride Month Events Flyer
- PRIDE 101: We welcome students, employees, and faculty to join us on Tuesday, June 7th from 3:00 - 3:30pm via Zoom for a quick history lesson on why we celebrate Pride in June, and some tips for attending Pride events in the local area. Flyer
- Queer Social Hour picks up again on Wednesdays from 1-2pm on June 8, 15, 22, 29. This virtual space is designated for FC students, centering their dialogue with each other. We'll be focusing on Pride themes and topics this month! Flyer
- Queer Book Club has selected the fantastic On Earth We Are Briefly Gorgeous by critically acclaimed poet Ocean Vuong for their June read! Join the club June 15 from 12 - 1pm via Zoom to discuss the text, or just listen in even if you haven't read the entire book. :) Flyer
- Pride Lunch for June 21 from 12 - 1pm has been generously sponsored by local business, Ubatuba Açaí! You can stop by the LGBTQIA2S+ Student Support Office in Building 500, Room 512 to share what Pride means to you and grab a delicious açaí bowl. Flyer
