Inspire and Engage Through Inclusive Education
To effectively engage community college students in the learning process, futute instructors must be inlcusive, inter-culturally competent, and able to integrate diversity, equity, and multiculturalism into their curricular content and teaching style.
This program aims to connect existing faculty at NOCCCD to mentor future potential instructors in selected fields fro fall 2018. The intership program will be one semester in lenght and will run from August 1, 2018 through December 15, 2018.
The program will offer and $800.00 stipend for eaach intern and mentor for the semester and offer workshops on becoming a commuity college intructor, The goal iof this program is to increas the diversity of coummuintycollege faculty to better seve our divers student poplulation.
ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA FOR INTERNS & MENTORS:
MENTOR-INTERN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITITES:
Mandetory orientation will occur at the beginning of the program/term.
