The purpose of NOCCCD’s ergonomics program is to identify and eliminate potential work related musculoskeletal disorder (WMSD) hazards in order to prevent employee injury. The program is intended to comply with California state regulations Title 8 CCR §5110 and selected sections of current and proposed Federal regulations 29 CFR §1910.9001910.945. Modifications to meet these requirements will be made to this program as changing laws dictate.
