NOCCCD offers a variety of instructional and administrative technology resources to support learning, enhance instruction, and increase student achievement at its three campuses. These resources are provided to the District’s students and employees to support NOCCCD’s mission, vision, and values, as well as institutional goals. With that end in mind, we are dedicated to creating pathways to expand educators’ ability to engage students in real-world, authentic learning experiences that promote 21st century readiness.

The services provided to students by the three Academic Computing Technology departments are enormous. Probably the largest single contributor to student success by the respective Academic Computing Technology departments is the development and use of student computer labs on campus. Not all students have the technologies that they need at home. Students coming to campus to capitalize on the investment made on their behalf is a huge contributor to student success. Students not only are able to compete assignments for their online class but the availability of computer services works on behalf of the students to include online student services and also email provided to the students means they are able to participate in the formation of online communities around our campuses.
Many of our students attend more than one campus in the district. The online community in our district means that students can negotiate classes, schedules and activities taking place in all parts of the district. Students attending classes all over the district are able to stay organized and finish programs quickly contributing to student success.
