Be a part of history in the making! NOCCCD is seeking qualified, interested individuals to serve on the Citizens' Oversight Committee for the District's Measure J facilities bond program.
Measure J is providing $574 million in funding for significant upgrades to technical job training facilities, aging classrooms, and veteran amenities at Cypress College and Fullerton College, as well as at the Anaheim Campus, which houses North Orange Continuing Education and the District's administrative offices.
The role of the Citizens' Oversight Committee is to:
Committee terms are two years, and there is no monetary compensation. Meetings are held quarterly. The District is seeking representation from a community college (student), business organization, senior citizens' organization, bona-fide taxpayers association, college support organization, and community at-large. Members must be at least 18 years of age and cannot be employees, vendors, contractors, or consultants of the District.
