| Responsibilities The departments of District Facilities Planning & Construction (FP&C) and the Anaheim Campus Maintenance & Operations (M&O) are part of the Finance & Facilities Division for the North Orange County Community District. Both departments are located at the Anaheim Campus, 1830-A West Romneya Drive, Anaheim, California 92801-1819 and are managed by the District Director of
Facilities Planning & Construction.
The District Facilities Planning & Construction
(FP&C) department plans and coordinates activities for District-wide facilities planning, renovation and construction functions, assuring compliance with legal and contractual requirements and District policies and objectives. FP&C prepares required plans and manages compliance reporting with Federal, State, and local health and safety agencies; develops and monitors the District energy conservation plan; prepares annual State capital outlay funding reports including, but not limited to, Space Inventory, Initial Project Proposals, Final Project Proposals, Five-Year Construction Plan, Waste Management, Scheduled Maintenance and Hazardous Substance Removal programs; establishes specifications for the bidding process for major and minor construction or repair projects; evaluates bids with appropriate District staff and prepares recommendations for Board consideration; assists in the preparation and processing of contract documents; reviews plans and drawings to ensure conformance with District requirements; provides construction oversight and inspects work in progress and completed work; and provides contract administration. FP&C also submits claims and monitors fiscal expenditures and fund transfers with regard to construction and their State funding resources to ensure compliance with District-mandated accounting policies and procedures, State criteria, and all other applicable State and Federal agencies. FP&C serves Fullerton College, Cypress College, and the Anaheim Campus.
Maintenance & Operations at Anaheim Campus
The Maintenance & Operations (M&O) department is responsible for the day-to-day operation, repair, maintenance, and security of buildings, physical infrastructure and grounds at the Anaheim Campus. M&O exists to support the academic mission of the College by providing a well-maintained, safe, aesthetically pleasing learning and working environment for all students, personnel, and visitors. |
